10/07/2016

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - Oklahoma State sophomore Jawun Evans has been named to the preseason All-Big 12 basketball team.

Evans is joined on the team announced Thursday by the conference by preseason Player of the Year Monté Morris of Iowa State, Johnathan Motley of Baylor, and Kansas teammates Devonte' Graham and Frank Mason III.

Evans was the Big 12 Freshman of the Year last season after averaging 12.9 points and 4.9 assists per game, although he missed the final 10 games of the season because of a shoulder injury.

Oklahoma's Jordan Woodard was named honorable mention on the preseason team.
